Sie übertragen hörbar meine Komposition "Ode to Beet". Mein Klangmaterial: 'Ode an die Freude', Schiller/Beethoven, 4. Satz der 9. Sinfonie.

Sinfonie, Ferienlied in Japan
While Mauricio Kagel takes Beethoven’s music as a draft, called a notation n the world of music, Kagel takes Erik Satie’s perspective of a ‘musique d’ameublement’ literally and wallpapers and furnishes the fantasy of an adapted Beethoven Room. For me, only the preconditions for setting these attributes (furniture, walls as well as paper) vibrating themselves by means of modern audio technology. ‘WaVers’ are invisible sound transformers attached to material surfaces. They transmit audibly my composition ‘Ode to Beet’. My sound material: ‘Ode to Joy’, Schiller/Beethoven, 4th Movement of the 9th Symphony. This time in the manner in which it is deeply rooted in Japanese culture as an icon of joy and friendship especially at the New Year, in holidays and also at other times in the year and life. Japan sings German. Schoolchildren, comic figures, Japan’s greatest choir in Osaka with 10,000 voices sing throughout the year. In the summer months, the Ode is then sung almost everywhere, from concert halls to shopping centres. In “Ode to Beet”, the notepaper is not cut up and made into space, but the Beethoven reception in Japanese culture is composed and transferred to tables, chairs and screens as well as to the sound foils crossing the space. Free for resonance!
