+++Nicht, wie hört sich Cage an, wie klingt die oder eine andere Komposition von ihm aufgeführt, sondern, wie resoniert++++++Not how Cage sounds, how the one or the other of his compositions are performed, but how resounds+++ Cage im Raum: Lebensraum, Stadtraum, Leseraum, Museumsraum, Archivraum, Leerraum, digitalen Raum, Lautsprecher-Raum, Instrumental-Raum.
Cage in the space: living space, city space, reading room, museum room, archive room, empty space, digital space, loudspeaker room, instrumental room. In principle, the Cage exhibition room is to be regarded as the centre.
From here, the sound intervention develops spatially/acoustically into the satellites. These are the surrounding rooms on various floors of the Study Centre for Artistic Publications and Museum Weserburg:
1. Cage Exhibition [Study Centre]
into
2.. Exhibition Room “On the Gallery” [Study Centre]
3. Artist Book Collection/reading Room [Study Centre]
4. Hans-Otte-Room [Museum Westerburg] as well as all rooms between.
These, as well as all openings to further museum rooms, function as diffuse echo and resonance spaces. They live equally off the remaining acoustic sound, the sounds produced through the whole of the museum, the public who are present and the ‘CageResonances’. The CageResonances thus advance in the museum from its centre to the edges, in the Hans-Otte-Room.
In 5 successive CageResonances, each of 10 minutes, the acoustic/spatial advance through rooms 1-4 is made a central theme.
The audio-mix of the radio live broadcast arises from the live mixture of all sounds just being produced, such as that of the remaining rooms, still sounding, at the advancing of the performance.
